The Higher Ranks

OK so I actually have great news! I got try-outs for my YEAR-END-TEST and my grades are actually good and I have a great chance to pass my test!. So anyway on Wednesday until Friday I had OFFICIAL try-outs that is given from the government. So there will be almost no mistakes on the questions. On Wednesday was the Bahasa Indonesia test or my language test. In this test there was 50 questions. It's not that hard when I did it. After my teachers finished checking my test, my score was 6.4! a freakin 6.4 out 10! Luckily we rechecked our test just in case. after we checked our test again it turns out that my original score is now 8.0 out of 10! so yea it was good enough to get me out of 6th grade. On Thursday was the math test. My math teacher corrected the questions that didn't made snese before she checked. So our results will be on how well we did it. And again I got a 8.0! my dad was happy but he hoped I could get a better score on my science test. And his wish came true. My science test result is 9.3! I had 2nd place on the score board. But my challenge is'nt over. For the next few weeks I'll have these try-outs. so I need to be the best at it.

Cousin Hansel Is Coming Back

Cousin Hansel is coming back home!!!!!!!! Yea! But not for very long. He'll be back at the 14th of March until the 21st. Hey not bad he'll be staying for a week. Cousin Hansel occasionally come back to Jakarta because of a break or so. But besides all the yays and all because he's back cousin Hansel would only be staying for a week. And I have school. Plus because I'm gonna face my YEAR-END-TEST in less then 2 months I don't think I'll have time to play or catch up with cousin Hansel. But because he'll be coming home on a Saturday there is a high chance that my mom would let me spend sometime with him. And also my grandmother could arrange a day for me to spend some time with him.

Childhood Dream

Well when you look back when you were 4 or so you would have simple dreams like: be a Policemen, Fire Fighter or so. Well maybe those dreams came true for you. I also had those dreams. But now that I'm 12 I actually have dreams like being a singer. And since I'm 12 I can actually make up my mind on this. OK if have read my last post I said I play the drums. But I'm also taking guitar lessons. Taking guitar lessons makes me able to make my own song or just practice other peoples songs. Plus added with the drum lessons I could make a song complete with the beats and all. Thx to my MacBook I have garage band that would allow me to actually record the melody, drum beats, and also my voice.

Wanna be multi talented

On My last post I said something about band instruments in building 2 of my school. Yea well I play the drums. But to be able to fit in high school you would at least need to be able to play the guitar. Well at least my friends says that playing the guitar would be able to get me more noticed. Then again I don't want to only be able to play only 1 instrument. So then I took out my dad's old guitar and clean it up. Luckily my drum teacher is also a guitar teacher. So I'll meet him twice a week on Monday for guitar lessons and also on Thursdays for drum lessons. Now I just can play 2 instruments! So yea maybe that would get me noticed at school

Still In My Old School

OK, you guys who have read the post about me trying to get in my new high school well i didn't get in. And luckily my old school also have the high school. So I am going to stay in my old school. But besides that there are some bad sides. You see 9 of my old friends are moving. And only 11 people stay including me. But my 7th grade class will have 26 student. So in total 15 new kids are coming. And another thing is that this would be my junior year. Meaning there is a high chance for me to be pushed around by the upper grades. Besides that I'm trying to concentrate with the good sides. I'm going to be in building 2. meaning I'm going to be separated with the annoying 5th grader witch would be 6th graders later this year. And in building 2 I'll be meeting interesting students that I already know and also some more fun teachers. I would also be able to touch, use and enjoy the band instruments they have in building 2. The also have a recording studio at building 2. WOW! And I'm sooooo glad to be leaving building 1. Although it's a bigger building but more annoying people are in there. So maybe it's not a very bad thing moving to the second building...

Life So Far

Ok... My life so far has been going well I guess. Well except for the fact my YEAR-END-TEST is only 2 months away!! My teachers say I have an average of 7 as my score. While I need a 6.5 to get to the 7th grade. You might think I have enough to get me trough, but no. I got 3 major problems why I might not be able to get pass 6th grade and into junior high. 1: 7 is my try-out score. the try-outs are easier then the original test. So my teachers will minus 1 score to estimate the original test score. So I might get a 6.0. It's bad. 2: getting a 7 is only in my langguage lesson. In total there are 3 lessons that will be in the YEAR-END-TEST. 3: My final problem is that the lessons participting in my test is mostly my weak points. Math: I'm kinda good but not good enough. My math teachers says i got to be more carefull in counting. Science: I don't even remember what a conducter means. Okay I do but my grades are still slipping down. Langguage: Okay I live in Indonesia where we speak Bahasa Indonesia. That means the Bahasa Indonesia test would be about using the proper words. And it's not as easy as English to me. Because alot of the words are just the same words written in different ways.

Gonna Go camp.

WOW! I had a very long holiday. And yet my joy is not going to end soon. Because on the 15 of January this new year my class is going to go camp!! I had a camping trip with the school ones when I was a fifth grader. And it was be fun. But this time there will be a bad side. And that is: the most annoying 5th graders are coming with us. Then there is 2 good news. 1 not all of them are coming with us. 2 we won't be sharing tents! So the boys grade 6 (witch is me and my friends) can sleep peacefully. And while we are going to be there we would have a lot of activities. I'll tell all about it when I get back.

The Hard Work to get in KOLESE KANISIUS

Well maybe you've known this but I'm actually a sixth grader. Well I'll be a sixth grader until the middle of 2009 I think. And I don't think that I'll be staying in my old school for junior high. So I'm moving out of my old school. And fortunately I've found a good school. It's an all boys school and it's only one block away from my old school. The name of this high school is Canisius Collage. This high school is an all boys school. The reason I'm choosing an all boys school is because I've been surrounded by girls my whole time being at my old school. So I thought that a little change would be nice. Well that isn't entirely why I'm moving. In a few posts before I told you about my cousin Hansel. He went in Canisius Collage and then got a scholar-ship to Singapore for his collage. So yea well it's like a looking-up to the older thing. So because my mom agreed and so did my dad, they decided that I had to be tutored. And I got a great teacher. She has this kind of class in her house for every weekend and my friend and I go to her house for our tution. And the real thing I like about my tution is that I get to meet new friends. Well this tution would last until January 09. And then I would hope to be able to get a scholar ship and then go to Singapore

My Christmas Performance! would be the crappiest ever

YEA! Christmas holiday's are coming! I'm soooooo happy. Well not entirely. I still have to pass 1 more obstacle. And that is my school's crappy Christmas Performance. I actually like last year's better. Anyway This year's Christmas Performance would be the time that Jesus was born on a modern setting. OK ummm picture this: a time when Jesus is born in Bethlehem and the world already has a TV, Reporters and all the other things we have in our time. And because I'm gonna be one of the casts I can tell you how it's gonna be. So first 2 studio reporters say's good evening (I'm gonna be one of em). Then the tell about their top story. It's about a Census (what ever that is...). Then they connect with a feild reporter and 3 sheperds. The feild reporter and the sheperds see an angel telling them about Jesus. Then we connect with another field reporter that is talking with Joseph and Marry. Then we connect again with another field reporter talking to The 3 Wise Man. They all see the new baby laying in the manger and then done. Lemme ask you how simple is that? And how crappy is it because it is presented ina modern setting. huuuuu.......... I somtimes don't get my school.
